Lo3: Offline Edit

After we had got all of the footage in order and so it was working we needed to then start editing it in more detail. We started off by taking some of the audio and editing it so it was more crisp and with less background noise

Lo2: Edit log for Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor

Lo2: Rushes

Me and Harry set up the the equipment for the shooting which took quite some time, aprox (30-40 mins). It  some where between the time frame of 1 and a half hours to 2 hours. When setting up we made sure to not let any wires left out and the one wire that we could not hide away we put masking tape over so that is could not be tripped over or knock over the equipment. All of the other wires where all out of the way and could not be tripped over. We set up the set in the way that we had planned. The TV, chairs and table where all in the places that had been shown in the storyboards and we also sat in the places that where shown in the planning. Everything that was planed in the storyboard was implemented when we filmed. The one thing that we did not do word for word was what was said in the script. This was due to time constraints because if we where to talk about every thing that was planned we would have gone over the time limit by a lot. We had always sent out the call sheet for what the equipment that we need for shooting. As we where reviewing games we needed to find an appropriate software or hardware to record the game footage. So we had to do research in to the best recording software and equipment to get so that we could make a better end product.

Lo1: Script (b)

Structure: For Hyrule Warriors          lead: Dom  (Ended up cutting this episode)

Intro: Who we are
-What game we are doing
-When it came out
-What platform we are reviewing it on

Section 2: The overall game
-       Wide variety of characters
-       Lots of different stages
-       New take on the music
-       Loads of new weapons
-       Collectables
-       Play as both Evil and Good
-       Different modes
-       New developers

Section 3: Big negatives
-       Gets repetitive within combat system
-       Some collectables are really hard to get
-       Some music can be pretty annoying at times, distorts vision on Zelda
-       Boss battles are pretty tedious and can be frustrating
-       Co-op which lowers FPS so not great to play with others

Section 4: Big positives
-       Big game and plenty of content
-       Great characters roster (12 different)
-       Fun combat mechanics
-       Story is good and easy to follow
-       Local co-op, allowing to play with others
-       Online multiplayer if you need help with any missions

Personal recommendation
-       Give score out of 5
-       Give reason for score
-       Give reason for people to buy or not too
