The overall feedback we got on the final edit of the review was positive and felt we had done a proper job at creating a magazine styled TV review.
But there were a few things which were picked up on being negative, they felt that there was no clear structure to the review. The issue with this was that we had aimed to make it more spontaneous and was meant to sound as though it was from the top of our heads. To fix this we went and made scripts which were very loose and told us what we needed to talk about at what points and some points to say in that topic of the game. This left it open to us to word it how we wanted and leaving it an open conversation between us all reviewing it but gave us the structure we needed to make it look and seem more professional.
Another issue that was raised was that we don't have any backing or bedding music over the top of the segment and colour correction. This is something that we had actually picked up on in the past as we were editing, we never added any music in the end because we felt that it didn't need any but after watching and doing research into other similar styled review show they all have some sort of music over the top. We do plan on now adding both music backing and colour correction onto it which will be simple enough as we can do both in post production. Lastly it was pointed out that we were quite slow and unsure of how to both start and end the episodes, we have found and noticed that this was mostly down the lack of experience and it does get better into the later episodes as we gain experience.
In conclusion we had overall very positive feed back with only minor improvements needing to be put in place. All of which we plan on adding into the later episodes and will be constantly making sure we are getting feedback as we go giving us the best show we could possibly produce.
